I am a Philadelphia-based maker of things, graphic designer, reader and responder—I also require a steady discipline of social pressure—so professionally, I work in marketing and graphic design with architects, designers, creative businesses, friends and many other truly amazing people. I am enlivened by the everyday magic of people and without them I would not treasure the solitude of reading and making as I do. I mostly draw and make prints by hand and reproduce them digitally, in books and as textiles. I also make drawings on ceramic sculpture and sewn into fabric. Sometimes I make things for myself as a means to filter, sort and navigate my landscape or absorb things I read, other times I make things to give away as gifts. Every once in a while someone comes to me, or I go to them with an idea, and we make it together. This site is in the process of morphing from a personal portfolio to a shared space for some more recent collaborative works.
